IN Sowetan of Thursday April 5 we published an article headlined "Mabuza and Mkansi draw battle lines".
The article erroneously stated that Cosatu in Mpumalanga would support Clifford Mkansi in his bid to unseat chairman David Mabuza at the ANC provincial elective conference.
It has since emerged that Cosatu in that province has not pronounce its support for anyone, let alone Mkansi. We failed to solicit comments from Cosatu. The reference to Cosatu is therefore retracted. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
