PSL executive committee member Kaizer Motaung has hinted that the league will do more for the two fans who died at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The league will investigate the incident that led to the two deaths through an independent process to provide proper answers to the families of the deceased and lessons.

The Kaizer Chiefs boss met with Orlando Pirates counterpart Irvin Khoza on Sunday and they agreed that Khoza would visit the injured who were still in hospital.

Motaung also confirmed that the two clubs were contemplating holding a memorial service for Chiefs fan Prince Chauke and the other male who died, whose name was yet to be confirmed because his family had not been informed.

"We are very much touched by what happened on Saturday, because we've gone this route before and none of us, at least in this day and age, still expected something of this nature to happen," Motaung said from the PSL's Parktown offices yesterday. "Unfortunately, life has its own challenges and sometimes history repeats itself."
