Jomo cautious of 'unknown' SAB league opponents

Jomo Cosmos coach Jomo Sono has conceded he doesn't know what to expect from fourth-tier side United Rovers ahead of their Nedbank Cup clash at Tsakane Stadium tomorrow (3pm).

Sono admitted that he knows nothing about their Northern Cape SAB League outfit opponents but is certain that they will progress to the next round.

"We don't know them [Rovers]. During our preparations, I tried to get some information on how they play but I found nothing.

"It will be a tough match but I am confident we will win the game because the boys have been hard at training for this game. I know that in this competition, players from lower leagues want to showcase their talents and that adds that spice to the games.

"I won't change the team that much. In games like this you must be smart, you have to give some fringe players game time, but at the same time you must make sure that the team does not lose shape," said the shrewd mentor.

Since the resumption of the National First Division campaign from the January recess, Ezenkosi have only lost one game and are sixth in the standings.
