Julius Malema and Mariah Carey have rendered Premier Soccer League clubs temporarily homeless next week, moving them to alternate venues for key matches in the league.

Malema's EFF will be launching their manifesto for the upcoming municipal elections at a rally at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, April 30, which has necessitated that Orlando Pirates be forced to move out four days before while the stadium is being prepared for the occasion.

As a result, they will now play Tuesday's game against Polokwane City at FNB Stadium, using the home venue of arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs as their alternate home venue for the second time this season.

Ajax Cape Town's match against Mamelodi Sundowns next Wednesday is at Athlone Stadium rather than Cape Town Stadium because Carey is hosting the first leg of her "Sweet, Sweet Fantasy" tour at the World Cup venue the night before.

Ticket prices for the diva's performance range from R340 to R1020 - considerably up on the price of watching a PSL encounter.

Ajax coach Roger de Sa said he would have preferred Cape Town Stadium where his players enjoy the quality of the playing surface.
