Kaizer Chiefs may have only lost two league matches this season but their inability to string together a consistent run of wins makes them fair game.

Golden Arrows assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi feels there may be few better chances to beat Chiefs than tonight, as the sides meet at Moses Mabhida Stadium (7.30pm).

With the way Chiefs' season has panned out, they should be due a win but that is not the way Ncikazi sees it.

"This, I think, is the best Kaizer Chiefs team to get a result against because they don't seem to have a adapted well to Steve Komphela's methods," Ncikazi said.

"But you can't discount the individual firepower they possess. They've got excellent individual players but the jury is out on them playing as a team and being able to last the full 90 minutes.

"They've been able to play some excellent halves of football but not sustain it for the whole game.

"If you play against the big teams, you need to make sure that you convert the half chances that come your way," he added.

"They have to be respected but you still need to have the courage to compete. The nice thing is that you don't have to motivate the players much."

Ncikazi, though, is fully aware of Arrows' own inability to play a full game of football with their issues lying in the second half where they have run out of steam. That has been the case since Clinton Larsen took over, even though they have often sealed results with good first-half displays. This is a weakness Chiefs may exploit with their better squad depth.

"Everything is a bit new at Arrows and the players have not been very consistent," Ncikazi said. "The players have not been confident and suspensions and injuries have played their part. We haven't had a consistent team week in and week out."

Amakhosi's Erick Mathoho, Lorenzo Gordinho, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Willard Katsande will all have to tread carefully tonight as they are a yellow card away from suspension.
