He's no fancy player, but Klate works extremely hard and never rests on his laurels. He's the type of player who can inspire a victory even on a bad day, as was the case when Wits twice came from behind to beat Golden Arrows 3-2 at Bidvest Stadium on Saturday.

The former Orlando Pirates man first curled home a free kick on 85 minutes before popping up at the near post, a minute late, to convert from a Vincent Pule cross.

"I have been saying this about Klate. You win things with that boy," Wits coach Gavin Hunt said after the game.

Klate, a five-time league winner, says he is enjoying his football again after struggling with form and injuries last season.
