SuperSport hammer City

Stuart Baxter, look away! Kingston Nkhatha is having the time of his life at SuperSport United and he's scoring goals.

Still wasteful yes, but he seems to be more confident, converting more chances than he did at Kaizer Chiefs.

The striker scored twice in the first half here last night as Matsatsantsa came from a goal down to hammer Polokwane City 4-1 in this Nedbank Cup last 32 tie. Nkhatha now has three goals in as many games for United, the same amount of goals he scored at Amakhosi in the first half of the season.

United were a goal down when Rendani Ndou produced a moment of brilliance.

City's lead last only 10 minutes before their defence capitulated. Nkhatha's tame shot somehow found its way into the back of the net. City keeper Modiri Marumo was to blame for the goal.

Two minutes later Nkhatha completed his brace with a header at the near post.

United scored a third in the second period through their in-form striker Jeremy Brockie. Dove Wome completed the rout just after the hour mark.

l From Tuks Stadium, Marc Strydom reports that Pretoria University added to Moroka Swallows' woes, by beating them 2-1 in the Nedbank Cup.

Thabo Mosadi opened the scoring for Pretoria in the seventh minute, Rudi Isaacs equalised for the Birds in the 35th , and Atusaye Nyondo scored a 74th-minute winner.
