Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has extended his stay at Chelsea with a four-year contract ahead of the new season.

The 52-year-old will remain on his current £8.5million a year salary, Standard.co.uk official website reported.

"If he wants me to stay, I'm staying. When he wants me to leave, I leave. I know he wants me next season because I am working. A ten-year contract is not important," Mourinho said.

The former Real Madrid coach re-joined Chelsea in 2013 after spending three seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he was accused of dividing players.
