Bloemfontein Celtic offloads senior stars

Bloemfontein Celtic has confirmed that three of its senior players Joel Mogorosi, Limbikani Mzava and Mogogi Gabonamong won't be part of the club as of June when their contracts expires.

It is alleged that Mzava who has not renewed his contract will be moving to a new destination despite the club's eagerness to keep him.

Celtic head coach, Clinton Larsen said, “Joel and Mogogi’s contracts came to an end we felt it will be prudent for us to let them go … We value and appreciate their enormous contribution, especially Mogorosi, thinking of his massive display when we won the Telkom Knockout Cup.”

"With Mzava, we never wanted him to leave but he had already made up his mind after starting the season mostly sitting on the bench”.

“It is painful to lose diligent players but again we really welcome their modest manner in accepting the decision taken. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours”, said Larsen.

The Botswana's biggest star Joel Mogorosi has been linked with a move to Tshwane side SuperSport United.
