Libya's biggest oil ports to open soon after security checks

Libya two biggest oil ports, Ras Lanuf and Es Sider, will open soon after making security checks as rival government forces have now pulled out from the area after months of fighting, Elmabruk Bosaif, the head of the Tobruk-based National Oil Company (NOC), said on Tuesday.

The two ports, which can handle a combined 600,000 barrels a day, are under the control of forces loyal to the international recognised government based in the east.
