Wome will stay with SuperSport

DOVE Wome is going nowhere, according to SuperSport United coach Gordon Igesund.

In-form Togo international Wome, who is on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, said this week he would be reluctant to ditch SuperSport and return to Chloorkop at the end of the season.

Igesund said Matsatsantsa have an option in the loan contract to keep Wome, and they will be exercising that.

"Dove Wome is a SuperSport player, and he will remain a SuperSport player. He will not be going back to Sundowns," the coach said at yesterday's press conference ahead of his side's meeting with Platinum Stars in tomorrow's Telkom Knockout final (3pm kickoff).

"He's very happy to be with us, and I'm very happy to have him.

"He's proven what he's able to do and is our leading scorer with seven goals in all competitions."
