GORDON Igesund admits that keeping his players' focus for their league match against Orlando Pirates on Sunday is his biggest task this week with thoughts naturally drifting towards next weekend's Telkom Knockout final.

Igesund's SuperSport United will take on Platinum Stars in the cup decider on November 29.

It would be a big moment for Igesund to lift the trophy after what has been a triumphant return to PSL football following a disappointing spell as national team coach.

His SuperSport side are not only winning games, but they are doing so in style.

"We have a lot of good competition for places and a good environment we are working in. Everybody is hungry to play and those that come in can compete for a cup final place, so there is plenty of motivation there," Igesund said. "We have been doing so well as a team lately, rather than individuals, so I am confident we can do well again."
