Ntlhe back from injury

KGOSI Ntlhe returned to action for English League One side Peterborough United at the weekend after seven weeks on the sidelines with a groin injury.

The 20-year-old featured for his side in a 0-0 draw with Walsall, helping them to a first clean sheet since the match in which he picked up his injury in late September.

The left-back position in the national team looks perhaps the most open and with coach Shakes Mashaba touting youth at every opportunity, how long it will be before he looks at the promising Ntlhe remains to be seen.

Ntlhe was handed his Bafana debut by Gordon Igesund against Morocco in October last year and with Tshepo Masilela seemingly out of favour, and Thabo Matlaba and Sibusiso Khumalo yet to really impress in a national team shirt, another cap might be in the offing for Ntlhe.

Maritzburg-born Michael Travis left fourth-tier side Arbroath 10 days ago and made a first appearance as a late substitute for Forfar Athletic in a 3-3 draw at Brechin City.

Forfar are a division above in the Scottish League One and are handily placed in second, among the favourites for promotion to the Championship next season.

Meanwhile, the Jacobs brothers, Keaghan and Kyle, as well as Burton O'Brien, all played for one of Travis's former clubs, Championship Livingston, as they lost 2- 1 at home to Dumbarton.
