AJAX Cape Town have made a dream start to the new Premier Soccer League season but tonight face a stern test of that early season form with the visit of Bidvest Wits to Athlone Stadium.

Wins home and away to Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City, as well as a good point on the road at AmaZulu are in stark contrast to the form of last season when they flirted with relegation at one stage.

Coach Roger de Sa is not getting carried away, but admits results have lifted the confidence of the side.

"It's nice to have the points, but we can't get excited, we just go game by game," De Sa said. "Eventually we will lose, we will have hiccups along the way, but hopefully that is not against Wits."

De Sa said they knew everything about their opponents whose style of play never waivers much under Gavin Hunt.

"It is never easy to play Wits, but you also know what you are going to get," he said.

"They will play long balls, they are very direct and try and play off [targetman striker] Henrico Botes. They will put 30 balls into the box and hope to get 10 chances from those, that is the way they play.

"But the flip side is that they also allow you the time and space to play as well, and we must capitalise on that."

The Urban Warriors will have Nazeer Allie back from suspension and club captain Dominic Isaacs available again after injury.

De Sa also confirmed that midfielder Toriq Losper, on loam from Ajax at Wits, will be able to play against his side.

Wits will hope to bounce back from Saturday's 3-1 loss to Orlando Pirates in the second leg of the MTN8 semifinals.
