THE SA junior flyweight title bout between Free State fighters, champion Themba "Doctor" Ntsele and challenger Matswake Moselesele is set to rock the Bloemfontein City Hall on Friday.

The contest is over 12 rounds and forms part of this year's 15th edition of the Mangaung African Cultural Festival (Macufe), which is a project of the Free State sport and recreation department.

Organised by promoter Lebo Mahoko, the show will be staged under the auspices of Boxing SA.

Illustrious champion Ntsele will be attempting to make a third defence of his crown against hungry challenger and home-town boy Moselesele. Ntsele's two defences were late last year against the late Anele Makhwelo and Mkholisi Bhonxa and were via a TKO and knockout respectively.

The reigning champion, trained by Lehlohonolo "Hands of Stone" Ledwaba, scooped the belt last July when he dethroned Eastern Cape fighter Xola Sifama, winning convincingly on points over 12 rounds. The bout is themed "It's a Bloody War, We Promise you Blood".
