JOMO Cosmos spokesman Lucky "Lacoste" Mhlathe says they will surprise many people when they make a quick return to the Absa Premiership following their fourth relegation to the National First Division.

Mhlathe said their relegation to the NFD was now water under the bridge, adding they would focus on making a quick return to the elite league.

"Talking about our relegation would not assist us at any stage, instead it would demoralise us. We will go back to the drawing board to make checks and balances as we plan our way forward.

"The likelihood is that some of the players who were on loan will have to return to their respective clubs. As our policy is very clear in terms of movement of players, we would not stand in the way of any player who wanted to join any club," Mhlathe said yesterday. "One advantage which we will capitalise on is the Under-23 rule, as we have more than five players under 23. This will enable us to cope."
