SWIMMING South Africa has selected a solid team for the All Africa Games that will be held in Maputo, Mozambique, from September 3 to 18.
Topping the list submitted to the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee is superstar Natalie du Toit.
A seasoned campaigner, Du Toit will also use the competition as part of her preparations for the qualifiers for the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics.
Some of the other big names who are in the team include Wendy Trott, Mandy Loots, Achmat Hassiem and Roxanne Tammadge.
The rest of the team is: Jessica Pengelley, Rene Warnes, Oneida Cooper, Dominique Dryding, Natasha van Biljon, Claire Conlon, Muminah Connelly, Kathryn Meaklim, Shireen Sapiro, Emily Gray, Kevin Paul, Sean Clarke, Natasha de Vos, Cedric Finch and Gordon Waller. Sascoc is expected to announce the final squad later this week.
