A LUCKY supporter of Kaizer Chiefs and his or her counterpart at Orlando Pirates will each win R1 million during the inaugural Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday.
The announcement was made jointly by bosses of the two clubs, Kaizer Motaung (Chiefs) and Irvin Khoza (Pirates) yesterday.
Just more than 10 million entries have been received in this tournament where supporters have been given a unique opportunity to select the players they want to take the field and also be the coach at Soccer City. Kickoff is at 3pm.
"The response we have been receiving from the fans has been overwhelming. We are giving back the R2million to the fans," said Khoza said.
"It's a donation to the fans. What is going to happen is that two lucky fans will each win R500000 and two charities of their choice will get R500000 each."
