THERE will be no love lost when Black Leopards host Dynamos in the National First Division Inland Stream Limpopo derby in Thohoyandou tomorrow.
The match is billed for Tshifulanani Stadium and kickoff is at 3.30pm.
There is little to choose between the two sides after they each won one match last season and shared the spoils in a third. Both clubs have collected six points from five matches this season.
Leopards' new coach Sunday Chidzambwa said they expected tough competition from Dynamos, who have regrouped after a shaky start to the season. It will be Chidzambwa's first match in charge after the former Free State Stars coach was appointed by Leopards last week. Mahlatse Maake and Dingaan Masanabo are among the players who can steer Leopards to victory.
Dynamos coach Johnny Ferreira said suspensions and injuries to key players will impact negatively on them. The injured players are Sandile Ndlovu, Booler Shabalala and Siphesihle Ngobese, while Allan Kamanga and Thulani Ntshingila are suspended.
Meanwhile, struggling Batau FC will hope to secure their first victory of the season at the expense of log leaders Jomo Cosmos at Mpumalanga Stadium on Sunday.
Inland Stream fixtures for the weekend are:
TOMORROW
Tshifulanani: Leopards vs Dynamos (3.30pm); Eldorado Park: FC AK vs United FC (3.30pm)
SUNDAY
Mpumalanga Stadium: Batau FC vs Cosmos (3.30pm) and Puma Rugby: Spurs vs University of Pretoria (3.30pm).
