MACBUTE "Macman" Sinyabi says he is not appreciated by SABC boxing commentator Dumile Mateza despite ruling the national junior featherweight class.
This sensational knockout artist from Mdantsane boasts 13 knockouts in 14 fights.
He accused Mateza of constantly feeding the public negative information about him.
He said it happened every time he did not stop an opponent in the first round.
Sinyabi chalked up six first-round stoppages under Mzimase Mnguni, who also guided him to a TKO win over Tshepo Mofokeng for the national belt.
Under Nick Durandt he notched up three short-route victories over Desmond Samuels, Luyanda Mrawuli and Tendai Munyai.
"Dumile's commentary focused on my failure to stop Mrawuli in the first round," he said.
Against Munyai, Sinyabi went down in the second round but dropped Munyai four times before the fight was stopped in round two.
"Again, Mateza was not interested in my knockout and it also disturbed me that none of my three fights were shown on SABC's review programme of last year's fights. I have come to terms with the fact the man does not like me but I wish he could acknowledge my ability."
Retorted Mateza yesterday: "There is no truth in what he is telling you. Look, I commentate about what I see and I can't fool boxing people who know their sport too well."
