THE case of a disabled woman who was raped in her home in Kempton Park must be investigated and prosecuted successfully, the Ministry of Women, Youth, Children and People with Disabilities said yesterday.
"We hope that the court will impose the maximum sentence permissible in this instance," said spokesperson Sibani Mngadi.
A 21-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping the wheelchair-bound woman on Monday.
