The Limpopo department of roads and transport will be in full swing this Easter holidays to make sure that fewer or no accidents occur on the province's roads.
Acting roads and transport MEC Namane Dickson Masemola kick-started the campaign this year by laying wreaths on the side of the road in Sekgosese, near Modjadjiskloof, at the weekend.
The move was in line with the national message of remembering those who have died in the previous Easter holidays.
Speaking during the Arrive Alive campaign on Friday in Sekgosese High School, Masemola said most of the accidents that occurred in the province's roads were due to fatigue, speeding, overtaking on barrier lines and usage of unroadworthy vehicles.
