ANC president Jacob Zuma will visit Limpopo next week to encourage people to vote in next year's elections.

Zuma will spend Monday and Tuesday in the province drumming up support for ANC votes next year.

He is scheduled to meet leaders from various structures, including those from traditional, religious and youth spheres, and ordinary villagers.

He will start with a doorto-door campaign at Mohotlo village outside Mokopane.

Zuma will also have an opportunity to meet Bishop Joseph Lekganyane, leader of the St Engenas Zion Christian Church, as part of his "winning the hearts and minds" of the electorate.

"Zuma will, on the first day, address the youth and students at the University of Limpopo's Turfloop campus before having a business dinner at a leading hotel outside Polokwane," ANC provincial secretary Joe Maswanganyi said.

He said Zuma would also visit the Modjadji royal family before addressing women at Kgapane Stadium on his second and last day of his election blitz.

"We urge everyone to attend and take heed of what the president will be advising them about," he said.
