The Mzansi Fo Sho Music Explosion All Spring Weekend festivities at various venues in Mafikeng was a roaring success.
Happening for the first time in Mafikeng, the shindig began on Friday night with a Hip-hop Explosion at the Bop Recording Studio.
The entertainment was provided by musicians such as Slikour and Mahoota and the otherwise intimate venue was packed to capacity.
The Hip-hop Explosion definitely got people in the mood for the real party on Saturday. Despite the very hot Mafikeng weather, Joburg and North West party lovers were looking forward to the main event - the Beach Party.
In trying to introduce the beach party culture in Mafikeng, Mzansi Fo Sho hosted the Beach Party at Modimola Dam.
The exciting line-up featured artists such as Nhanhla, Brickz, TP, L'Vovo, JR, Tuks, Pro, Oskido, Jozi, Bantu Soul, Merafe and Big Nuz.
DJ Sbu got the evening going on a high note. The disc juggler played like never before and the crowd enjoyed his music. Nhlanhla introduced them to something different and they delighted in her energetic performance.
Other artists who delivered good performances included JR, Tuks, Brickz, Pro and Oskido.
The weekend ended on a high note yesterday with a Detox-Car Wash do at Letlamoreng Dam in Mafikeng. The event was made possible by Sowetan , SundayWorld , Metro FM and the SABC.
