Cocktails don't necessarily need to have alcohol to make them fun and great tasting.
Cool mixes of non-alcoholic cocktails have an important role to play because they open the world of cocktails to those who are of sober habits. This includes children, drivers, pregnant women and people with religious or health constraints. They add to the variety of mixed drinks available to those who temporarily or permanently abstain from alcohol.
According to John Brains, a bartender at Liquid Chefs, many alcoholic cocktails can be turned into "virgins" by omitting the alcoholic ingredients.
