Drinking binge ends in death

An argument between two men ended tragically when one of them was stabbed to death during a drinking binge in Limpopo.

The incident happened at Nkomo 22B village, outside Giyani, on Wednesday night.

Police spokesman Superintendent Moatshe Ngoepe yesterday said the two men were drinking sorghum beer when they suddenly started arguing.

The dead man was identified as Elias Mahlaule, 50 .

A 56-year-old man was arrested.

Meanwhile, police have recovered the body of Khubani Chauke, 79, who went missing on July 14 in Ngove village near Giyani.
