Popular community activist Ben "Mabenito" Senne will be missed by all, especially his fellow community development workers.
Never one to keep quiet, the extroverted Senne was born in QwaQwa on September 5 1966 and was educated at the Isaac Makau Primary School and later Etwatwa High School.
He was at the forefront of the formation of the Wattville Concerned Residents Commitee, which led to the establishment of Tamboville section, and was also a member of the ANCYL and always served on the disciplinary committee.
Senne will be buried tomorrow at the Ekurhuleni East Cemetery after a service at his home in Sesedi Street starting at 7:30am.
