A Transcash security guard was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money by five men - two armed - at business premises in Warrington Road, Kenilworth, Western Cape, police said on Tuesday.
Spokesman Captain Angie Latchman said the security guard had gone into the premises on Monday afternoon to collect money. His colleague stayed in the van.
On his return the security guard saw that a white Opel Corsa had parked nearby.
"While walking towards the van he was attacked by the robbers, who took the three cash boxes and fled," Latchman said. - Sapa
