Limpopo province has lost a beloved son who represented it in many respects, Khazamula Jamey Nkuzana.
He was admitted to the Polokwane Medi-Clinic the day before complaining about a pain in his right leg. He died on May 3 during an operation.
Nkuzana, 62, obtained his D Litt in 1996 from the University of South Africa after doing a critical assessment of BKM Mthombeni's creative work.
Mthombeni was a renowned author of Shangaan novels and a grammar book.
Nkuzana is survived by two children, a brother and two sisters.
He will be buried tomorrow in Giyani. The service at the Giyani East Evangelical Presbyterian Church, starts at 6:30am.
