The City of Johannesburg will on Sunday host a special general meeting with the 70/80 Soccer Legends to discuss their role and activities in the 2010 Fifa World Cup and beyond.
Junior Ramovha, the deputy director relations manager of the City of Johannesburg said yesterday that they were going to discuss how to implement programmes and the role of the legends leading to the World Cup finals.
The meeting that is bound to be exciting will be held at the Braamfontein Conference and Recreation Centre starting at 11am.
"The city is hoping to involve as many soccer legends as possible and we believe that their input is important," said Ramovha.
Already the 70/80 Soccer Legends have spread their wings to all nine South African provinces. - Meshack Motloung
