Celtic will be doing this, in conjunction with their backers Old Mutual, in all their home matches this season. They also intend to conduct free and voluntary HIV-Aids tests in the future.
Supporters were also advised to drive safely and not to drink and drive, not only during the festive season but throughout their lives.
Said a media-friendly Siem yesterday: "What Celtic are doing is not only good for the profile of the local game but also to their supporters. I have never heard of this but I'm really happy with their initiative.
"They have taken a very proactive move and I urge other clubs to build the profile of the local game through such initiatives.
" Teams should repay their supporters by taking care of them through such programmes.
"It should be a two-way traffic type of a relationship between the supporters and the clubs."
Sello Nduna, the likeable Celtic public relations officer, said the club would continue to ensure that they took care of Siwelele, as their supporters are known.
"We are what we are today because of our supporters and we will continue to make them happy at the team," he told Sowetan yesterday.
Celtic's backing from their ever-colourful and vibrant supporters is is well known.
Their support for their team has impressed South African Breweries, who sponsore Bafana Bafana, that they decided to strike a deal with Celtic.
This is that two thousand Celtic supporters will attend local matches of the senior national squad free of charge.
