Mpumalanga police are looking for the family of a person whose bones were discovered at Siyathuthuka Farm, formerly Stento Estate, near the Nkomazi toll plaza in Kaapmuiden.
Police said the bones were found at the beginning of the month by sugarcane cutters while reaping.
The bones were taken to the Nelspruit state mortuary for investigation.
"We are looking for the next-of-kin," Kaapmuiden head of detectives Inspector Pat Bhanda said. We are also waiting for DNA results to determine age and gender."
