The Safa Gert Sibande region in Mpumalanga has donated computers to its seven affiliates in a move to help them run their affairs efficiently.
The handover was made at the region's executive meeting at Embalenhle in Secunda at the weekend.
Seven local football associations, including Msukaligwa, Likwa, Albert Luthuli, Govan Mbeki, Pixley ka Seme, Mkhondo and Dipaleseng received computers.
Fanyana Sibanyoni, president of the region, strongly believes these computers will assist their affiliates to conduct the administration tasks competently.
Stanley "Screamer'' Tshaba- lala, Safa head of development, commended the region for its initiative.
"Well done to Gert Sibande. It is very rare to find the region taking it upon themselves to empower its members in terms of developing football.
