Still not content after the overwhelming success of the WBC International double-header last Friday, Branco Sports Productions (BSP), is going one better on November 30.

The fistic gem between Bongani "Cyclones" Mwelase and Lucky "Babawazo" Lewele at Wembley Arena last weekend is firmly entrenched as the top contender for Fight of the Year.

Now award-winning promoter Branco Milenkovic has decided to wrap up his most successful year yet with a massive triple-header at the Carousel casino in Hammanskraal.

He unveiled the details prior to his departure on Tuesday to the Philippines for the WBC annual convention where he managed to secure better ratings for most of his nine WBC International champions.

Milenkovic's tournament will feature two WBC International championship fights and an international 10-rounder. Unbeaten WBC International light flyweight champion Phumzile "Sweet Chocolate" Matyhila (now ranked nine by the WBC and 14 by the IBF and WBO) will defend against Filipino Alex Aroy.

Another WBC International bantamweight champion, Vus'Umuzi "Marvellous" Malinga (now ranked third in the WBC ratings and 9 by the IBF) will defend against Argentinian Sergio Victor Caruso.

Also in the programme is former IBF junior lightweight champion Malcolm "The Stone" Klassen (rated 12th by the WBC), making his debut under BSP also against an Argentinian, Pablo Ernesto Olivetta, over 10 rounds.

Another familiar name on the card is former IBO junior featherweight and South African junior bantamweight champion Simon Ramoni, who will collide with Boxing SA's 2006 Baby Champ titleholder Bongani Mahlangu.

Unbeaten welterweight prospect Chris van Heerden has been added to the bill but his opponent is yet to be named.

Tuesday's WBC convention was a good one for most of Milenkovic's fighters. Vincent Vuma and Mwelase are now rated 10th, Lewele dropped to 17th, Ali Funeka is now third, Jeffrey Mathebula ninth, Evans Mbamba eighth, Moruti Mthalane 13th, Zukisani Kwayiba is still fourth and Jonas Kgasago is 20th.
