I am disappointed to learn of Archbishop Desmond Tutu's comments that Britain should toughen its stance on Zimbabwe.

He forgets that the current situation in Zimbabwe is a direct result of the same former colonialists. If Zimbabwe collapses, so be it. I hope it collapses so that Zimbabwe's true sons and daughters can rise from the ashes and rebuild their motherland without the poking noses of the West.

What are Britain, Australia, New Zealand as well as America's interests in Zimbabwe? Surely not Africa's interest. Are we that stupid not to realise it?

Black man, you are on your own.

Zimbabwe will rise to the occasion without the help of the West. The same applies to all other African countries. All we have to do is to stop being complacent and take charge of our own destiny.
