In-form AmaZulu have warned Lamontville Golden Arrows that they will bite the dust when the two meet in the Durban derby tomorrow night.
The clash has all the hallmarks of a cracker and has been rightly dubbed a grudge match.
Philani Mabaso, Usuthu's public relations officer, said they oweArrows after their neighbours beat them 3-0 in the second round of last season.
"Secondly, they prised off two of our former players in Kagiso Senamela and Xolani Mabaso. They will pay dearly for what they did to us," said Mabaso.
But he said they would not take Abafana Bes'thende for granted. He said that Arrows have lost two games in row meant they would be desperate to start collecting points.
"Arrows are a good team and the two losses they suffered in their first two matches of the season means that they will be dangerous playing at home, but we will be ready. We want to collect maximum points come rain or shine," Mabaso insisted.
Usuthu also want to make amends for last week's unlucky draw against Santos. Mabaso said they drew a match they shouldn't have.
"We conceded a last-minute goal and failed to convert numerous chances we created, but coach Clive Barker has worked on that the whole week and I promise we will be a different team on Saturday."
Themba Mnguni is the only injured Usuthu player.
Arrows' publicist Zwe Mzolo assured their supporters they will turn the corner at Usuthu's expence.
"It's such a pity that we play our neighbours at such a crucial time. We want to start winning on Saturday. Three points will remain at Lamontville, there's no two ways about it," said an optimistic Mzolo.
He said the players were hungry for a first win and so were their supporters.
'We urge our supporters to come in numbers for this big one. They must know that the strength of the crocodile is in the water, so if they come and support their team, they will not be disappointed," he said.
Vusimuzi Vilakazi and Norman Smith are injured .
The match starts at 8pm at Umlazi's King Zwelithini stadium.
