A wife has dealt women's liberation a blow right in the middle of women's month.
She was dumped on the side of the road by her irate husband, but has shouldered the blame for the apparent abuse and the subsequent accident in which her husband was injured .
The assumption of guilt may be a reaction to the shock of almost losing her family. She could also be trying to minimise the police's accusation of drunk driving.
But everyone has to take responsibility for their own actions. It would be more practical for her to enrol the man in an anger management course, an advanced driving course and with AA.
That would be better than crying mea culpa for another's aggression.
