Six armed men held staff at a Newcastle casino at gunpoint before making off with R1,5million in cash, KwaZulu-Natal police said yesterday.

Six armed men held staff at a Newcastle casino at gunpoint before making off with R1,5million in cash, KwaZulu-Natal police said yesterday.

Superintendent Vincent Mdunge said the men entered the casino at around 11pm on Sunday night.

No shots were fired and no arrests had yet been made. - Sapa
