Eighty supercars, including a Mercedes-Benz SL55 with only 26000km on the clock, will come up for auction at Aucor's premises in Midrand tomorrow.
"It's the kind of car that gives supermodels a run for their money," said Aucor's vehicle auctions expert Mark Nossel.
"In fact, it's incomparable. Sleek, sexy, and superpowered with an eight-valve Kompressor engine of top-class automobile engineering. This Merc is simply magic!"
Also coming under the hammer at Aucor's Saturday Sensational SuperCar auction are a 2007 ML320 CDi 4-Matic automatic with sunroof, a 2005 Mercedes CLK 350 and a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire coupe.
"Brand new, these cars can break the bank," Nossel said. "But at auction they go for fair market value, fetching the best prices that purchasers of previously owned vehicles can possibly hope for."
It's not the only auction that'll keep Aucor's auctioneers busy tomorrow.
Also coming under the company's hammer tomorrow are two residential properties - 904 Wexford Road in Dainfern, and Unit 1, Madison Palms, 107 Greystone Drive, Sandton.
And in a shift towards extending its scope towards including Sundays, the company will sell a further three residential properties the next day, Sunday, July 29.
These are on Segal Road in Halfway Gardens in Midrand, Honeydew Manor on Beretta Road in Honeydew, and 1091 Regatta Road, Henley-on-Klip.
The rest of Aucor's working week for Monday, July 30 to Friday, August 3, comprise a Midrand construction auction on Tuesday, as well as salvaged cars in Benoni, a range of vehicles in Bloemfontein, and a bottling plant and equipment in Durban on the same day.
On Wednesday the company will hold a multiproperty auction at the Inanda Country Club, and on Thursday its property auction activity shifts to Bloemfontein.
