ASA teams after medals

Molatelo Malehopo, Athletics South Africa (ASA) development manager, reckons their athletes will never be the same in terms of confidence going into the World Youth Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic, next month.

This is after their medal haul in the Southern Region Youth Track and Field Championships in Mozambique earlier this month. The South Africans leave for Ostrava on Saturday for the event that runs from July 11 to 15.

ASA's athletes won 48 out of a possible 49 medals in Mozambique and are now hoping to improve the sixth position in the world rankings in Ostrava. Teams:
