Education spokesman Christi Naude said the marking of scripts was completed without problems. Marking of answer scripts was carried out by about 7 500 markers. An administrative team of about 1500 personnel were employed.
Naude said district heads will check results to prevent omissions and errors two days before the final results will be released at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg. Premier Sibusiso Ndebele and Cronje will meet and showcase the province's top students.
