The disciplinary hearing for suspended Coin Security guard, George Maduna, was again postponed yesterday.
Maduna's hearing was postponed because Coin had to decide whether to summon a Sowetan reporter to testify.
Maduna is one of four Coin Security guards arrested by police after Coin's Modderfontein depot was robbed. They were released after a few days when they could not be positively linked to the case.
The guards have alleged they were assaulted by the police.
When Maduna reported back to work, he was suspended for talking to the Sowetan about his alleged assault by the police.
"I am a threat to the company because I question everything they do which is wrong.
"In the 10 years I have worked for them, they have suspended me 11 times and I won all the hearings. All they want is to get rid of me now," Maduna said yesterday.
A Coin consultant called the Sowetan yesterday to find out whether Maduna had spoken to the newspaper.
"We had to adjourn the disciplinary hearing because Maduna denies speaking to the media. We had to decide whether we must call the Sowetan to testify or not," he said.
Maduna's disciplinary hearing has been suspended twice since his suspension.
