Sending Kabelo Thibedi to jail will do him no good because he is definitely not a criminal.
The worst thing that jail can do to him is turn him into a criminal because in prison he will be forced to associate with hardened criminals.
What he did was wrong, but his punishment was harsh. President Thabo Mbeki must intervene to sort out this problem.
Mbeki must also help us in the case of a white Limpopo man who shot a black child because he thought he was a dog. The case has been dragging on for too long. I fear it might end up being withdrawn.
