The US military is investigating a video posted on the internet that claims to show four Marines urinating on the bloody bodies of insurgents, identified as possibly Taliban fighters, according to media reports.
The 39-second video was circulating Wednesday on the internet. In the video, the men laugh as they relieve themselves on the bodies.
According to the Washington Post, the bodies were dressed in Afghan-style clothing.
The US Marine Corps said it was aware of the video "that portrays Marines urinating on what appear to be deceased members of the Taliban," according to a statement quoted by ABC news.
