Your favourite online news source, SowetanLIVE, is in the final stages of launching its slick, user-friendly new website.

Have no fear, the old favourites such as the comment section, Picture of the Day and the Wedding Blog will still be available.

We have made browsing the site less of a chore through a simpler navigation bar so you can move from one section to another and find the latest stories with ease.

The site is also fully responsive, meaning our page layouts will adjust automatically to make our articles a breeze to read on any mobile device.

And because we know the financial struggle is real, we have made sure that the site is optimised for fast loading speeds and low data usage.

What do you need to do to enjoy all these new changes? Just register – it’s quick and free.

Once you’ve registered, you can also opt in to receive any of our brand-new range of email newsletters: SowetanLIVE morning, afternoon and breaking news emails; a dose of weekly gossip updates with Shwashwi newsletter; a mid-week round-up of sport stories; and two Sunday World newsletters, on Mondays and Fridays.

You won’t need to go far to keep up with the latest in gossip and entertainment news. The Sunday World website will now form part of the overall SowetanLIVE website, with its own trendy and aesthetically pleasing look.
