Hundreds of ANC supporters cheered and made their way from Grand Parade as soon as the EFF was evicted from Parliament.

They had gathered there to attend the People's Assembly which was organised by the ANC.

They watched the State of the Nation Address on big screen televisions and booed as EFF leader Julius Malema and his party members interrupted proceedings.

When the EFF clashed with what appears to be Parliamentary security services‚ hundreds of supporters bolted from the Grand Parade.

They marched towards Adderley Street but were met with police who pushed them back.

Stun grenades were also detonated and the crowd dispersed in all directions in the CBD.
