A mass resignation of Cabinet ministers‚ who supported a motion for President Jacob Zuma to step down‚ would have serious consequences‚ ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe said on Tuesday.

However‚ he said the party was not anticipating the resignations.

“Mass resignations would have serious consequences‚” he said‚ without elaborating.

Mantashe said leaders were not pulled together by their “conscience” but by the tasks they had to perform for the ANC.

And a South African Arab Spring will have even more consequences for the ANC that continues to put their own party above the interest of the country and all its people for the sake of enriching themselves. Shame on the ANC!!!

I wish Cyril can resign, Although he must still apologize to the workers and affected families of marikana he is one of the fewer individuals who are honest. Thumbs up to Hsanekom and Dr Motswaledi.
