A 21-year jail sentence for human trafficking has been handed down against a Nigerian man.
Chinamera Amajouyi‚ 34‚ lured two teenagers aged 14 and 15 years from Soweto in Gauteng to Quigney in East London‚ Eastern Cape province‚ in May 2010.
Captain Anelisa Feni said he worked with another Nigerian Prince Ameka Agu‚ who is on the run.

“The two had promised the girls a good life but to their surprise the girls were forcefully turned into sex slaves.
“A month later‚ the girls were rescued by a sex worker who hid them at her friend’s house until they were found by police who were doing their routine patrol.”
Amajuoyi and Agu were arrested in 2011 and were released on bail. The two‚ who were due to be sentenced in April 2012‚ skipped the country and failed to appear in court. Amajuoyi was rearrested in 2015. This week‚ he was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment by the East London Regional Court after he was found guilty of sexual exploitation and another 12 months jail term for failure to comply with the Immigration Act.
The Hawks are still in search of Agu.
