DJ Fresh has come out in defence of comments made by DJ Euphonik recently‚ saying he knew that the explicit remarks were addressed to Twitter trolls and not the whole of South Africa.

Euphonik has found himself the subject of a near week-long Twitter storm when he ended a series of tweets addressed to his haters on Sunday with the profanity “Msunu yenu nonke.”

The DJ maintains that the comments were addressed to his critics but that did not stop users on the popular social media site from accusing him of swearing at all of them.

However‚ The DJ has found an ally in his friend and fellow F.EU member DJ Fresh‚ who took to Twitter this week to publicly share his thoughts on the controversy.

Responding to one fan’s comment about the incident‚ Fresh dismissed the enquiry with a simple: “I knew he was referring to his trolls & Nobody else!! Next.”

It is the first time that DJ Fresh has addressed his friend’s comments directly. He did not respond to the comments when they were first made but‚ as an avid social media user‚ he has reposted several funny memes mocking the controversy.
