Police have reportedly rescued a nine-year-old child who was in a vehicle allegedly hijacked in Pietermaritzburg ‚ KwaZulu-Natal‚ on Wednesday.
The Ladysmith Gazette reported on its website that police had apparently intercepted the hijacked vehicle at the Loskop bridge near Ladysmith after it was last seen heading for Colenso.
According to reports‚ a suspect has been arrested in connection with the hijacking.
The parents and another child apparently managed to jump out of the vehicle during the hijacking.
